H.264/AVC / HandBrake Audio issue
« on: March 22, 2012, 09:32:20 AM »
Hello, i've been having another trouble with Handbrake this time the problem is it won't detect the audio of and blu ray file that happens with the nightly version svn4436 in the old versions it does detect the audio, but it won't properly convert he file since the older version dosen't support hi10

is there any way to make Handbrake detect the audio?

Gspot woulnd't give me so much info about the vid so i just saw the readme file and it seems it's 1920x1080_Blu-Ray_FLAC audio. that's all the info i can see  : (

H.264/AVC / FrameRate Issue
« on: February 07, 2012, 03:41:07 PM »
Hi, i've been having some problems wiht the nightlite found here - https://build.handbrake.fr/job/Windows/

The problem is i try to convert a source of 23,976 Frames, but instead i get a converted file of 26,152 and when i import that to After effects i get this error: After Effects Error: Overflow Converting Ratio Denominator (17 :: 18)

Any clue why that happens? :S

EDIT: It happens with the regular handbrake too .. idk what's the problem if i manually change it to 29,000 frames would something happen to the clip?

« on: February 03, 2012, 06:42:45 PM »
Hi, i've been having a problem with handbrake lately, when i try to conver an mkv blu ray release in 10bit compressed i get pixelating and really crappy quality for some reason, i wanted to know if there's some option to converting the mkv file or any setting i could tweak in HAndbrake here's both screenshots..

IF there's any alternative for HandBrake please let me know!! This Releases are really high quality and i would like to edit them like they are.!

H.264/AVC / H.264 problem while muxing with Mp4Box
« on: November 08, 2011, 03:44:15 AM »
First of all, i'm new in this forum so i think i haven't set this post in the wrong section.

My problem it's this:

I got an MKV file (Matroska Video File) with subtitles of 293 MB  with the size of 1280 x 720 HD

What i wanna do it's convert it to another file format without losing quality.

First i used Xilisoft Video converter wich gave me great results but the file size are like the double the original.

so the best way should be mp4, watching tutorials and reading a LOT i found a way to do that, using

MKVcleaver_x64
and
Mp4Box 0.5.5.4

First i split the files into 1 video file h.264 and an audio file wich normally is Audio ADTS (.aac)

so far everything goes fine, but when i open mp4 box, and import all the files and click on mux,

The output is a perfect mp4 BUT the audio dosen't sync with the video at all and in some parts it even cuts. The vide runs perfectly though, and the quality it's just fine.

So what's happening? I tryed converting the audio file to mp3 and it is still the same, the audio dosen't sync.

i though it was the codecs so i installed only CCP and CoreAVC i can't find a solution for this problem.

Please if someone would be so kind to tell me what's happening.

Here's the info of the Vid that Gspot gives me

I don't have any problems with mp4 files only when i mux them like i explained above.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bits

My Pc has a GTX Force 580
Asus Sabertooth P 67
8 GB ram
1 TB hardrive

Thank u for the help.
