Patch x264_hrd_pulldown.diff failed
« on: December 29, 2009, 10:45:14 PM »
I used x264_hrd_pulldown.diff to patch the x264-snapshot-20091228-2245, but there were several mistake happened. Was the Patch doesn't match current version? Can I just modify the difference manually according to the .diff file?

From the Current Patches thread:

  • Another widely known patch is the one that adds the nal-hrd functions into x264. Has gone through way more than enough development loops (latest Trahald's and ZmGorynych's) and even the x264 developers think that a proper code review should take place on ZmGorynych's patch so this feature might get into the official x264 source tree.

Are you using one of these? The Trahald's one seems to be getting patched for newer revisions because ZmGorynych etc. haven't had much time to work on the bugs in it (although most probably BOTH of these patches have bugs). Also, both of these will need a reworking as the VFR stuff gets in.
