Theora is new ?  Cheesy

anyway, for the record, you can find FFmpeg2theora win32 build w/ avisynth support here. There are also some tools dedicated to ogv files (libkate, oggz-tools)

Hello everyone..new here and have a few questions re "open source" vs "proprietary"

Can Google open source ON2s VPx..or wouldnt this open the door for possible copyright / infringement suits ?

or

..is the fact that VPx is proprietary, block the VPx from viewing in a way to prevent others from seeing if the codec does infringe ?
